What’s New in Next Lab: Improved Resources, Smoother Planning, and Key Fixes

We’ve released a new version of Next Lab to production, bringing several improvements that make it easier to design, manage, and reuse sessions, sprints, drills, and resources.

This update focuses on improving the planning experience, fixing issues reported by users, and making key workflows more reliable across devices.

Add resources while defining a new drill

You can now add resources directly when creating a new drill. This improvement makes the drill setup process smoother by allowing teams to attach the materials they need at the moment they are defining the activity.

Instead of creating a drill first and adding resources later, facilitators can now keep everything connected from the beginning.

Better support for copying sessions and sprints

We’ve improved the way sessions and sprints are duplicated so that related resources are carried over more reliably.

When copying or duplicating sessions and sprints, Next Lab now takes into account the resources connected to sessions and agenda items. This helps teams reuse existing work with less manual setup and fewer missing materials.

Improved agenda experience on touch screens

This release fixes an issue with drag-and-drop interactions on touch screens when working with session agendas.

Users on tablets and other touch-enabled devices should now have a smoother experience when organizing agenda items.

Translation fixes

We fixed an issue where some locales were showing “translation missing” messages.

This update improves the experience for users working in different languages and helps ensure the interface displays the correct translated content.

Report generation fix

We resolved an issue that prevented report generation from working correctly for a specific user account.

This fix improves the reliability of the reporting workflow and helps ensure users can generate the reports they need without interruption.

Together, these updates make Next Lab more reliable and easier to use, especially for teams that rely on reusable learning structures, shared resources, multilingual support, and flexible agenda planning.
